Steve Doyle Photography As a celebrant, I've seen it all - the good, the bad, and the downright hilarious. But no matter what happens during a wedding ceremony, one thing is for sure - there's always a whole lot of love in the air.
One of the most heartwarming moments I've witnessed is when a groom tears up as he sees his bride walking down the aisle. It's a beautiful reminder that even in this modern world, weddings still hold so much meaning and emotion.

And let's not forget about the kids - they always bring an extra dose of cuteness and unpredictability to a ceremony. I've had flower girls who refuse to walk down the aisle, ring bearers who get stage fright, and even one little boy who insisted on being the one to say "I do" instead of the bride and groom.
But weddings aren't just about the heartwarming moments - they're also about the hilarious ones. I'll never forget the time when a bride accidentally said her new father-in-law's name instead of her husband's during the vows. The guest all broke the silence with a roar of laugh, it took several moments to wipe the tears and start again. Or the time when the best man's phone went off during the ceremony, and his ringtone was "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston.
Despite the occasional mishap, weddings are always a joyous occasion. As a celebrant, I feel incredibly lucky to be a part of such a special day in people's lives. Seeing two people in love committing to spending their lives together is a beautiful thing, and it never gets old.
So, whether it's tears, laughs, or a little bit of both, I'm always honored to be a part of a couple's wedding day. And who knows - maybe I'll even get to witness the next viral wedding moment.
